New Pictures

Vicki, a friend and crafter, has given me a wonderful digital camera so that I can now post pictures easier. Since I just got it today, I have only had a chance to take a few pictures. The cat is my baby, Rafai'a.

And the other two are of my quilting room as it is now, before I have finished the work I want to do on it. It is usable, but I cannot wait until I get the work done. I plan to replace the bookcases with floor to ceiling bookcases, and move these to another room. I then want to put a large panel on a track that can be moved over the new bookcases and use it as a design board.

Thank you Vicki! I'm so glad you will be able to post your pics easier. I think easier=more, LOL. I love pics. I think you have a great space to work with compared to my teeny tiny room. Putting your design wall over your book shelves is a great idea. I might have to steal that idea from you. My room lacks in space and I have things on every wall making it hard to have a big enough design space. You have the perfect solution. Rafia's green eyes are beautiful.

Thanks. I got the idea from a quilt mag article (can't remember which) about a design studio. I have kept it in the back of my mind, especially since the opposite wall is windows that I don't want to block. Another option, is if your room has a closet with sliding doors, put the design wall on one of them, that is what I did at a previous rental.

Rafia'a would tell you that thank you, if she could.
