Sad news about Aunt Abbie

I just received some bad news about my Aunt Abbie today. Aunt Abbie and I share a birthday, and I have always felt close to her. Unfortunately she was placed on Hospice as of today. She was born in 1929, and if she lives to March, (highly unlikely, sad to say) she would be 80. I wish I could get out to Denver to see her one more time, but that is not likely. I have all sorts of wonderful memories, and if I get my scanner hooked up, I will post some of the more memorable pics from years past.

Oh, Karen I would so love to see the pictures!! No rush, but when that scanner is working -- well, it would be lovely!

Karen, I amm truly sorry that life gives us such sad and challenging journeys. I appreciated your stopping by and commenting on the loss of your uncle and now an aunt in hospice! Sending prayers and blessings to you and yours. May the warm kindnesses and comfort of the hospice staff help ALL of you during these times ahead.
