I have pictures to post of my house, since I and several friends took out the carpet today. The living room and back bedroom floors are in fair condition. The front bedroom floor is not too bad, it just has adhesive on it from when I believe the previous owners had put down carpet tiles rather than regular carpet. The hallway is pretty bad, looks like one or more animal had accidents that went through the carpet and pad to the floor. The back room, where my quilt studio is going to be had carpet over carpet tiles. So the sub floor is sticky as well. I am thinking of putting linoleum down in there, just not sure of the cost. I also have before and after pictures of the bathroom. I have replaced the ceiling fan with a proper vent fan, and have begun to clean the tub and surround.

You've done a lot of work. How long before you think you can be in? Remember, one day at a time. Don't let yourself get overwhelmed.
I had friends helping with the carpet, thank God. I am still aiming for the middle of November, since there is so much more to do. Thanks for the encouragement.
