Ok, the system would not let me include the bathroom pictures, so here they are. The first is the ceiling fan that the old owners had in.
The next is the new vent fan (what should have been in there all along) that my brother-in-law installed for me.

Now, here is the gross tub and surround from when I first bought this house. It looks really bad.

And here I have done some cleaning, just to see what the condition was, and if the tub is salvageable. The jury is still out on that, because of the cost of replacing the tub and surround, and the fear of what the wall behind the them is like.

Wow! The bathroom cleaned looks awesome!
Congrats on your house sis!
I agree, the bathroom is looking great! And I love your floors! Is there someone you could hire to sand them for you? Amazing what elbow grease and some paint can do. My husband and I have rehabed a couple of houses. There is always a point where you get discouraged and say What was I thinking??? But in the end, it will be gorgeous. I'm glad you are taking photos - it will be fun to look back someday and see what it was like when you started.
You are doing a great job!
Thanks to both of you. I just wish I could replace the tub (it is rusted).
As for the floors, they will have to wait a year or two, I just don't have the money, and won't take on more debt. I am going to put some remnant carpet in the hall. Clean the adhesive off the front bedroom floor, and do what I can for the rest.
